Brackett Denniston

Senior Vice President & General Counsel, General Electric

Mr. Denniston is responsible for the GE legal organization worldwide and for all GE legal operations, He is a member of GE's corporate executive council and GE Capital's board of directors. He is also chair of the company's policy compliance review board. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Denniston served as chief legal counsel to Massachusetts Governor William F. Weld. His responsibilities included judicial selection, litigation, criminal justice issues and legislation. Previously, he was an associate and later a partner at Goodwin, Procter and Hoar, where he specialized in complex civil litigation, securities matters and white-collar crime. Earlier, Mr. Denniston served in the U.S. Attorney's Office as chief of the major frauds unit. He received a bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Charles L. Harrington

Chairman & CEO, Parsons

Mr. Harrington joined Parsons in 1982. Prior to his current position, he served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Previously, Mr. Harrington was the founding president of the commercial technology group at Parsons. Earlier, he was vice president and program manager of a multibillion dollar engineering and construction project with the US Department of Energy’s Savannah River site. Mr. Harrington received a BS in engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California at Los Angeles.

Andy Hinton

Chief Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel, Google

Mr. Hinton leads Google’s efforts to identify and mitigate compliance risk and to nurture and expand upon the company’s core value of “Don’t be evil.” Prior to joining Google he was the chief compliance officer at two GE Capital financial services businesses. Previously, Mr. Hinton was a federal prosecutor in New York City, focusing on white-collar crime. Earlier, he was a litigation associate at the New York City law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he focused on commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Mr. Hinton received a BA in economics from Harvard University and a JD from the Fordham School of Law.

Mitch Jackson

Director, Environmental Affairs & Sustainability, FedEx

Mr. Jackson has responsibility for the sustainability and governance areas of these matters, providing strategic direction and management of environmental, energy management and sustainability issues at FedEx. Prior to his current role, he held multiple positions within FexEx including operations, properties and engineering, and the legal division. Mr. Jackson received a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Memphis and a Master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas.

Georg Kell

Executive Director, United Nations Global Compact

Mr. Kell is the executive director of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative with more than 6,000 participants in over 130 countries. In 1997, he joined the Office of the UN Secretary-General in New York, where he spearheaded the development of new strategies to enhance private sector engagement with the work of the United Nations. As one of the Global Compact’s key architects, he has led the initiative since its launch in 2000, building the most widely recognized global business platform on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. His career with the United Nations began in 1987 at the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva. Prior to joining the UN System, Mr. Kell worked as a researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany and as a financial analyst evaluating multinational companies’ investment portfolios in Asia and Africa. He received advanced degrees in economics and engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.

Douglas M. Lankler

Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer, Pfizer

Mr. Lankler supervises various proactive functions and personnel responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures for ensuring global compliance and driving Pfizer’s culture of performance with integrity and accountability. He also has responsibility for internal investigations. Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Lankler served as an assistant US attorney in the Southern district of New York. Previously, he was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. Mr. Lankler received a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a JD from Cornell Law School.

Mark Mendelsohn

Deputy Chief, Fraud Section, Criminal Division , U.S. Department of Justice

Mr. Mendelsohn is responsible for supervising all of the Justice Department’s criminal investigations and prosecutions under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. In addition, he has principal policy responsibilities relating to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials in International Business Transactions, and is the Department's representative on the OECD's Working Group on Bribery. Prior to joining the Fraud Section, Mr. Mendelsohn was senior counsel with the Department's Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section. Previously, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Mendelsohn clerked for the Honorable Denny Chin, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York. He received a BA in history from Yale University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Thomas O'Neil

Advisor, WellCare Health Plans

In addition to his role at WellCare Health Plans, Mr. O’Neil is president of The Saranac Group, a strategic consulting firm that advises boards of directors and senior management teams in the areas of business ethics, regulatory compliance and government controversies. Prior to his current positions, he served as vice chairman at WellCare. Previously, Mr. O'Neil was senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, also at WellCare. Earlier, he was a partner and joint global practice group leader for legislative and regulatory issues and the chair of the US government affairs practice group at DLA Piper. Mr. O'Neil received an AB from Dartmouth College and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.

C. Turney Stevens

Dean, College of Business, Lipscomb University

Mr. Stevens has served on Kohlberg Capital's board since December 2006 and serves on the valuation committee and the compensation committee of the board. He is also dean of the college of business and professor of management at Lipscomb University. Prior to his current position s, Mr. Stevens was founder, chairman, and chief executive officer at Harpeth Companies. Previously, he was founder and chairman of Printing Arts America. Earlier, Mr. Stevens served in various capacities at Rodgers Capital. He received a bachelor’s degree from David Lipscomb University and an executive MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
